Washington National Dance-O-Rama

Arthur Murray's "Washington National Dance-O-Rama" was held at the Gaylord Hotel on National Harbor this year, and since I really wanted to see the Gaylord decorated Christmas-style, Lee encouraged me to go make some holiday memories with Tara. The decorations didn't disappoint -- the Gaylord was fabulous!
I helped Tara (a little bit!) in the ballroom, checked out the little shops on the harbor (although it was so cold I didn't last outside very long), explored the hotel, and had some fabulous "quiet" time. Tara and I bundled up and walked along the harbor, and up the hill to see the giant, new MGM Grand Resort and Casino that opened that very weekend.

We couldn't leave Washington, D.C. without seeing some of its famous sights, so we braved the cold weather and walked along/through the National Mall to see the National Christmas Tree.

I always have so much fun and an incredible adventure when I'm with Tara, and this weekend was a perfect boost to my holiday spirit and jumpstart to the Christmas holidays!
