Ben made the trip to the airport to pick up Chris & Colleen and Max while we set the table and prepared our favorite Thanksgiving recipes. It was such a great blessing to have everyone at the Thanksgiving table this year! After a yummy dinner the Black Friday shoppers headed out to snag the early bargains while we cleaned up, did the dishes, and got ready for more fun. The kids founds their mittens filled with surprises and Christmas pajamas, and we were finally able to find room for dessert.

Colleen brought her camera and we were excited to get some updated family photos. Tara promised the kids a surprise treat IF we had a successful photo shoot, and they were thrilled with "F'reals" at the gas station!

Another bonus during our Thanksgiving weekend together was a chance to celebrate Max's 12th birthday. Max is such an incredible mix of brains, and a sweet, loving personality. He is an awesome "Junior Olympic" swimmer, a "straight A" student, and on the Sixth Grade Student Council at his school. He is adored by his younger cousins, and is such a great example for them. We all love him so much, and were especially excited to celebrate in person with him this year.

We have so much to be thankful for, and a rare and memorable Thanksgiving weekend with ALL of our family is a perfect time for "giving thanks."
