Our family closed another chapter in our Book of Life with the passing of our brother-in-law and uncle, Hal Healey, on April 12th. Although we will miss him greatly, we are so grateful that he and Janice were only separated a short six months. Hal & Janice were so good to us, and loved our kids as their own. They were anxious to support us in everything, and were some of our kids' biggest fans. Hal never missed an opportunity to give us a squeeze and tell us how much he loved us, and we could always count on him for his crazy bits of humor and wisdom.
We made a quick trip to Utah for the funeral, and Alex and baby June were also able to make the trip. Lee was asked to speak at the funeral, and he did an amazing job. It was a beautiful spring day at the cemetery, complete with military rites provided by the American Legion. Hal and Janice were rarely apart in life, and now they are together again for eternity.
