43 Years...

On December 17, 1970, amidst a record-breaking snowstorm/blizzard we made our way to the Salt Lake Temple to be married and sealed together forever. In celebration, 43 years later, Lee took the day off and we spent the entire day celebrating together, beginning with a session at the Houston Temple to remind us of those sacred covenants that created our new family, followed by lunch at Pei Wei.

 

Our 43 years together have been a great adventure, filled with ups/downs, joys/sorrows and always love/commitment. We have learned and grown together, have faced challenges and rewards, and tasted disappointment and success. We recognize that our strength is in our differences, and look forward to the adventures together ahead. One of Lee's New Year's Resolutions this year is "to be less annoying" to me, and one of mine is "to be more patient" with him, so obviously 43 years together has not been long enough - we still have work to do!!!
