Rise & Shout, the Cougars are out....

It's been 23 years since we gave up our family season tickets to the BYU football games, so we were excited to join the fans in the stands to cheer for the Cougars again when they showed up in Houston! It was the battle of the Cougars -- BYU Cougars vs University of Houston Cougars!

Lee, Tara, Amy & Ben, and Alex & Nick are all BYU alumni, so we were all ready for the game. Ben's parents, and two of his brothers and their families drove down from Dallas too, so we had 18 family members in our cheering section! Amy got all of the tickets and was able to get passes to the tailgate party as well, so it was a full day of fun. The tailgate party included lunch and a chance for the kids to meet Cosmo and the Cougarettes. Face painting, thunder sticks, and pom poms and we were on our way!

It was great fun to attend a game in the amazing Reliant Center, which boasts the largest jumbotron screens anywhere. It was a fantastic game with lots of scoring for both teams, and very exciting when BYU scored in the last minute to win by one point, 47-46!!!!
