Since that nasty Toby storm cancelled our trip to NYC, and since Tara was going to be at home for a weekend, and since Amy found fantastic airfare to Florida ... she surprised Isabelle and Olivia with an impromptu trip to visit Tara in Miami, and I tagged along! The weather was absolutely perfect while we were there, and we had a fabulous time being part of Tara's world for a few days. We loved exploring Coral Gables, tacos at Lime, shopping & a movie, pedicures, walking the Biscayne Bay Bridge, jogging Tara's routes, checking out Tara's office, and of course, Miami Beach.

By the last week of April Lee was anxious to make the move to Montana for the upcoming summer months. We loaded up the truck and headed out, making it all the way through Texas and a corner of New Mexico to Trinidad, Colorado the first day. The second day took us north through Colorado and Wyoming to Billings, Montana. Then one more day from the southeast corner to the northwest corner of Montana finally brought us to Sigh-Bar, 2028 miles. One highlight of day three was a stop at a park along the Yellowstone River in Livingston to visit an awesome statue of my hero, Sacajawea. We found there is still some piled up snow, but it feels like spring is just about to appear in the Flathead Valley, and Lee is in heaven.

So, we are hanging on...and enjoying our second Spring season of 2018!
