It's Great to be Eight!!

One of our February highlights was Olivia's 8th birthday. Olivia is a very creative and imaginative child, and keeps us all guessing what she's going to be up to next! She is forever inventing and building things, always thinks "outside the box," and finds school a complete waste of her time! She has a very quick wit, great compassion for everyone and everything, and never runs out of energy. On our birthday date she chose to go to Build-a-Bear at the Woodlands Mall, where she decided on a golden bear she named "Bonnie." Dinner was an easy decision, Chick-fil-A, with a big sugar cookie at Great American Cookies for dessert.
The next weekend we were thrilled to join Olivia at her baptism. She was baptized and confirmed by her father in a beautiful program which included a special violin solo by Isabelle, as well as parts from both grandpas and grandmas, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Afterwards the extended Cosby and Christensen families celebrated with some good ol' Texas barbecue at Rudy's. Livi brings a unique perspective and great joy to our family, and we love her so.
