45 Years!!

December 2015 was a milestone in our family history -- Lee's official retirement after more than 45 years of employment, and 45 years of wedded bliss!

Lee has had a diverse and interesting career over the past 45 years, including nine different employers and seven moves. He is now looking forward to no schedule, no meetings, no commute, and no need for a watch! He is excited to devote his time to doing whatever he wants to do, whenever he wants to do it! The kids presented him with an extra special retirement gift, a custom made weather vane to put on the roof of his barn.

Lee has yet to set the date/place for a retirement dinner to be hosted by ExxonMobil, but we celebrated by flying to Montana and having a romantic dinner in front of the fireplace at the Grouse Mountain Lodge.



I am so blessed that in the 45 years we have been married I have never had to worry about consistent income. Lee has worked every day, and has always provided for our family. I am so grateful that he valued and pursued a good education that opened the doors to great opportunities, not only for his own personal growth and development, but also provided so many opportunities for our family. I am excited now to join him in his next great adventure -- RETIREMENT!!!
