March Madness

There has been a plethora of items and events contributing to the madness at our house this month! First of all, the weather. According to the weatherman this entire winter has been "colder than normal," and the trend continued into March. Not more really cold weather, but just more chilly days than warmer days. Like 75 degrees one day and 45 degrees the next -- madness!!

The Boy Scouts delivered the mulch - 75 bags! I didn't try to get it all spread in one day, which resulted in getting covered in mulch myself on multiple occasions, but finally got it all done (except for the few bags that I reserved for the flower bed that I am going to replant first). And, spread it all wearing flip-flops, so my feet got REALLY dirty -- madness!!

I studied, calculated, itemized, re-studied then re-calculated, our taxes; then printed, signed, and mailed the final forms. Good news is we should be getting a return (unless my calculating and re-calculating were wrong?) -- madness!!

Michigan State lost in the NCAA Tournament, so my chance for winning the family pool this year disappeared -- madness!!

The highlight of March 2014 was on the final weekend when our sweet Isabelle was baptized. A room full of family and friends shared this special occasion with Belle on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. It was great fun to then join the Christensen and Cosby families for a celebratory dinner.
