Tara's Christmas gift to each member of the family last year was round-trip airfare for a family vacation together. The destination choice was unanimous -- Walt DisneyWorld, "The Happiest Place on Earth," on Mother's Day weekend! Lee and I flew to Miami and drove up to Orlando with Tara where we met the rest of the gang. It was so fun to all stay together in a 3 bedroom/2 bath suite at the Floridays Resort.
We had a great time following Max & Isabelle around the Magic Kingdom, and seeing the wonder and thrill of it all through their eyes. Max, Isabelle, Lee and I tip-toed out early each morning to enjoy breakfast at the pool together.
One of the highlights of the trip was during my first visit to a DisneyWorld restroom when my cell phone fell out of my pocket into the toilet, and was automatically flushed away! Thank heavens for the clean restrooms with automatic toilets!
How could spending Mother's Day with your children and grandchildren get any better?!....maybe as the final day of the "Happiest Vacation on Earth"!!! Thanks, Tara, for a truly magical Mother's Day weekend.

It was a fabulous family affair! I wish it was just starting again. Thanks for being such a wonderful mother, it was fun to celebrate YOU with all of us together at Disneyworld. How appropriate since you ARE Goofy! =-) especially considering the phone situation.
